Yandex says revokes 2022 financial guidance
MOSCOW, Apr 21 (PRIME) -- Russian Internet company Yandex has withdrawn its 2022 financial guidance, the company said on Wednesday in an annual report.
“Given the significant changes in the external environment and a high degree of uncertainty about future geopolitical events, including new potential sanctions and their influence on the Russian economy, our previous recommendations, disclosed in our press release on the financial results for October–December 2021 dated February 15, 2022, should be no longer taken into consideration, and we cannot present any outlook at the current stage,” the company said.
The outlook put total group revenue at between 490 billion and 500 billion rubles in 2022 based on recent performance.
